Responsibilities

The city, through its council members, mayor, and staff, provides management and oversight of programs, which include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Seeking county, state, and federal assistance grants which are currently providing additional funding for road maintenance and drainage projects
• Maintaining a high profile in county government thus ensuring every citizen a voice and the city more clout in issues which affect our citizens
• Overseeing development to ensure community standards are maintained
• Publishing a directory of residents, properties, and important information
