Recreational Amenities
As part of the special-purpose local-option sales tax (SPLOST) funded City Hall project, the City of Berkeley Lake planned and included a playground at 4040 South Berkeley Lake Road. The city maintains the popular playground for the enjoyment of area children.
There are two Gwinnett County parks within the city, the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center and a portion of Pinckneyville Park. The aquatic center includes both indoor and outdoor aquatic amenities. Pinckneyville Park is a large park with a multitude of recreational opportunities, including a community center with a host of class offerings, a community garden, multi-use trails and soccer fields.
