The City of Berkeley Lake will hold Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th from 10 AM to 2 PM at City Hall and the Chapel. This event is for city residents only. Staff will be on hand to verify city residency, so bring a valid ID with a current Berkeley Lake address. Waste Management, a shredder truck, a scrap metal recylcer and Fully Furnished Ministries will be in attendance to receive a variety of items. However, the vendors WILL NOT accept the following:
- Yard Trash/Trimmings
- Paint cans or liquids
- Construction debris
Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful in partnership with Gwinnett County Solid Waste is hosting an Earth Day event at Coolray Field on April 27th from 9 AM to 12 PM and may accept some of those harder to recycle items. Here's more information about that event.
